Lost,Confused, And Beaten

Kenobi entered the boarding school, looking for the office.He had never really had much schooling back in Mexico, and for some reason one nagging thought remained in the back of his mind. Your going to get caught! Thats all he could think of, being caught and thrown back to Mexico.He headed towards where he thought the office was, obviously quite lost.

He looked around him, all the people here seemed to be rich.One boy, leading a gang of a few others, smirked and as if they had been given a signal, his gang surrounded Kenobi.Kenobi stopped walking, his muscles tense.

"Yo.Poor boy.Whats a mongrel like you doing here? You dont even have enough money to live on the streets" He jeered out.
"¡Puedo ser pobre, pero atleast que puedo atrás mis palabras arriba con acciones en vez de tratar de comprar mi salida de cualquier problema!" Kenobi exploded, and his fist was soon heading for the boys face.The gang jumped him, and held him down, while the boy began to slug Kenobi in the chest so he could'nt breath.Kenobi struggled, but could'nt get free, and there were no teachers around.

Katie walked down the hall, adjusting her purse on her shoulder. She rounded the corner and looked down the hall to see a fight. Three guys appeared to be holding someone down, while one guy hit him repeatedly. She cussed inwardly, not sure what to do. Starting to panic a little, she ran down the hall to the closest classroom. She slung the door open and the teacher looked up. "Fight" she said, slightly out of breath. The teacher stood up quickly, almost knocking his chair over. He was a rather large man, and she was sure he would be able to handle it. The man rushed out of the room and she pointed down the hall towards the people fighting. "Hey!" the man yelled, his deep voice booming down the hall. He ran over to the group and yanked the boy that was doing all the punching away. He pulled his arms behind his back in a rather painful looking position and the guy started to yell and thrash around. The guys that had been holding the one guy down, jumped up and attempted to escape. But now that the noise had accelerated, teachers had came out of the classrooms. Two other men grabbed them and shoved them up against the wall. They too started to yell and try to get away. Unsure of what to do, Katie put her stuff down and quickly went over to the boy that was still on the ground. "Are you alright?" she demanded, looking him over. She kneeled beside him, unsure of how to help him. He didnt look to hot right now, but then again who would after a beating like that. Katie didnt turn around but she heard the three teachers hauling the boys away since there yells of protest were getting quieter. A female teacher came over to her and the guy "The nurse is on her way" she said, looking at the guy.

Kenobi struggled to sit up, gasping for breath and seemingly unable to pull even the littlest bit of air in.His chest throbbed where the boy had punched him, and bruises were starting to form. His eyes though, had not changed much.They were dark from pain, but there was no fear in them, just a cool acceptence.

That was the first time he'd been beaten so badly, but not the first time he'd been jumped.He remembered finding an old friend beaten up pretty badly by the Socs, and getting revenge in a large rumble after that.

Finally Kenobis lungs started working, and he sucked in a giant breath and released it thankfully."Im fine" He said quietly, trying to stand, but nearly falling over.He leaned against the wall quickly to support his weight, since his legs did'nt seem to want to."Im used to getting hit." He wiped a small trickle of blood away that was coming from a small cut on his temple- one of the boys had had a ring on, and had hit him with the hand that had the ring on it.

When he started to sit up, Katie backed away a little, giving him space. After a few seconds, he started gasping, scaring her a little. Was he going into shock? She noticed he was starting to try to stand up. She didnt really think that was the best idea but she didnt try to stop him. As he slumped against the wall, she went over to him and put her arm around his shoulder and the other around his waist. Katie heard him say something like 'Im used to getting hit', but she could have been wrong. She noticed a cut on his forehead that didnt look to good. It would probably leave a scar.

As she supported him, they waited another minute or so and the nurse arrived. The woman didnt look surprised to see him like this, so obviously someone had filled her in. Or maybe she was use to how people looked after fights. Katie had only been here three days and this was the second fight she'd seen already. The first one hadnt been nearly as bad as this one though. The woman motioned for him to sit down so she carefully lowered him to the ground. From a box she got a wipe and started dabbing at the cuts on his face. She imagined it probably stung a good bit. As she sat beside him, she examined his face, wondering what he would look like without all the cuts and bruises.

The nurse continued dabbing at him and applying ointments. She examined the cut on his head for a moment then started to dig around through the box. She tore something open and placed it over the cut. She repeated it three times. When she moved away, he had three butterfly stitches over the gash. "Are you hurt anywhere else? Anything feel broken or out of place?" she asked him, not seeming to really care. Katie stood up and brushed her pants off, prepared to help him where ever he needed to go. She felt a little weird, doing all this and not even knowing him but it felt like the right thing to do.

Kenobi leaned against the girl slightly, still unsteady on his feet."He sido dolido peor" He mumbled in Spanish. He tried to straighten up and nearly fell over as shock started to set in, making his legs go weak.His eyes suddenly looked alot more tired, and the attack was starting to catch up with him. He gently brushed his fingers across the stitchs, wincing slightly. Stitchs were normally only for the seriously big cuts. The small cut would have healed on its own, its only remider a small scar where it had been, joining other small scars that marked his skin, obvious marks of other fights. He stood there, still trying to find his legs again

Since he didnt say anything about being hurt anywhere else, the nurse packed up her things and walked away. Katie noticed that he had said something in Spanish. She only knew a few words of the language since other languages weren't exactly her best subject. Seeing him touching the stitches she said "They're really just like band-aids. Made for holding cut together so it will heal faster. Stitches is probably a bad thing to call them." Her memory flashed back to her own experiences with them. She had lost tract of the number of "stitches" she got for the more minor cuts. Real stitches, she wasnt sure of either. As she stood there still supporting him, she watched the teachers and people slowly leave the area. "So, do you need be to help you to your car or where?" she asked. He didnt seem to have any books, which she found odd. 'Does he even go here?' she asked herself mentally, not having seen him around. True it was only her third day but usually you pass the majority of the school in the change from class to class. Leaning down a little, she grabbed her own things and slung them onto her sholder.

Kenobi shook his head. "I dont have a car" He said. "I was looking to enroll here and got lost, then those Socs jumped me" He did'nt realise she might not know what Socs meant. "Those boys, they Ellos luchan manchan. Manche a tramposos podridos" He went on to cheerfully cuss them out in both spanish and english good naturedly. "Could you perhaps lead me to the office?" He asked, watcing her with a grin. His hair flopped into his eyes, hiding most of his scars and the bandage from his more recent injury. His dark eyes twinkled cheerfully at her.

"Oh" Katie said, understanding now. That explains why he didnt have any books or why she hadnt seen him around. As he spoke in Spanish she nodded, noticing that the words didnt sound too nice, even if she didnt understand him. "Sure, its about two halls over" she said, smiling back at him. Slowly, she started walking, okay with going whatever pace he needed. Being in such close proximity to him, made her a little nervous, as she was around all guys. As they walked she glanced at him, trying to hide her face behind her hair. Thanks to her dark skin, he couldnt tell that her face was getting red but she could feel it. "Im Katie, by the way" she said, smiling at him. The introduction was a little late but they hadnt had much time to just be talking earlier.

Kenobi followed her at an easy walk, her dark eyes twinkling happily. He smiled at her. "My name is Kenobi" He said waiting for the usaul jokes about his Star Warsy name. He had gotten used to them over time.

"That's a cool name" she said, looking at him then looking ahead again. The last thing she wanted to do was trip over something. A few minutes later, they arrived at the entrance of the office. Opening the door, held it with her foot to keep it from hitting him. "Maybe you should sit down..." she suggested, not wanting to pass out or something. Though he did look fine, sometimes people just fainted out of know where. Katie adjusted her bag, not sure if she just leave or stick around. Common sense told her to leave, that he wouldnt want her around more than necessary. But something else resisted slightly. So she stood there, waiting to see if he sent her off.
