James felt his heart sink as she slammed the door and locked it. Now he felt horrible and wanted to slam his head into the wall a couple of times. Now what was he going to say? He took a chance and swallowed hard not sure what to do and walked upstairs. He felt his pulse throughout his body and knew he was in some serious trouble. He plopped down on the bed and put his face in the pillow. He didn't mean to say anything like that but all the stress just built up to a point and that was it... Now it was worse and him and her officially had their first fight. He already regretted saying anything.

Tinsley heard James walk up stairs and she whipped open the door, not even flinching as she heard it slam into the other side of the wall. She walked out the front door making as much noise as possible, not forgetting to slam the door as she left the house. She hopped into her car and jerked on the ignition not pausing to think about her actions.

James got downstairs and into the driveway as fast as he could but she had already gone down the drieway. "I'm sorry." He said quietly and sat against a large oak tree that stood near the barn. The animals all heard the commotion and had lifted their head but were already back to eating.

He put his head back against the tree and sighed before closing his eyes, knowing he had just blown it. He felt like she wasn't coming back or if she did, it was only for her and Avery's things. Maybe he tried too hard to make this work and it had just blown up in his face like everything else he'd ever done.
